RCESS and WACWISA interacts on best practices
On 25th February, 2021, Dr. Samuel Gyamfi, Deputy Director of Regional Centre for Energy and Environmental Sustainability (RCEES), an African Centre of Excellence at the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UNER), and Director of Finance, Mr. Albert Banan Abdulai paid a day’s visit to West African Centre for Water, Irrigation and Sustainable Agriculture (WACWISA) at the University for Development Studies (UDS).
After an earlier interaction with the Vice Chancellor of UDS, Prof. Gabriel Ayum Teye and the Director of WACWISA, Prof. Felix K. Abagale, the visitors met the Deputy Director of WACWISA, Prof. Gordana Kranjac- Berisavljevic to share lessons on best practices.
Amongst the discussions on best practices were students admissions, non-academic activities and donor support, mode of lecturing as a result of Covid-19, use of laboratory equipment and infrastructure development.
