Prof. Raymond Kasei, Head of the Climate Change and Food Security Department of the University for Development Studies is an internationally renowned modeller and climatologist with wide experience as an environmental and social scientist who combines subject matter expertise in Hydrology, Climate and Social Change, Gender and Modelling for Research, teaching and development. He holds significant skills and experience in advanced program and project management. By establishing effective partnerships with educational as well as international development institutions, policy makers and civil society stakeholders across Africa, he has had major impacts on improving skill sets, practices and policies that have built capacities of communities and institutions. He has worked in several regions including Sub Sahara Africa, Sahel, Europe, and the United States of America
