The West African Centre for Water, Irrigation and Sustainable Agriculture (WACWISA) at University for Development Studies (UDS) provides opportunity for students, faculty, and researchers worldwide in advancing academic and scientific research activities in Irrigation and Drainage Systems, Water Resource Management, Sustainable Agriculture, Climate Change and Food and Nutrition Security.
WACWISA is offering opportunity for internships/National Service for graduates to participate in its world-class research and promotional activities in Africa, especially in the West African sub-region. To apply for our Graduate Internship Programme, you must:
1. Have completed undergraduate studies and registered for the National Service Scheme by June, 2020.
2. Have majored in Agricultural Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Soil and Water Conservation and Management, Horticulture, Agronomy, Hydrology and Watershed Management and Engineering, Agricultural Technology, Soil Science, Natural resources Science and Management, Biology, Agriculture, Development Studies, Geography, Environmental Studies/Science or related fields.
3. Be hardworking, highly motivated and interested in promoting scientific research.
